Weaving Technique: The yarn is shot (using a hand tool or a tufting gun) through the design which is laid out on a canvas backing to make the pile.
A latex coating is glued to that backing to hold the fibres together.

Weaving Technique: Each knot is individually fastened to the warp yarn on the loom.
HANDWOVEN
Pile height: Varies but often flat
Product life: 4-7 years
Weaving Technique: The weft yarns are woven through warp yarns on a loom.
Depending on the design, they can have a pile or be woven as a flat rug and are often reversible.
